Beach Football

Alanya was the first city to organize an International Beach Football Championship. The first ones held were on 14th to the 16th July 2000.

As a part of the World Championship, it lasted 3 days and national teams from 4 countries joined. Among Turkey, Germany, Brazil, Spain.

Brazil won the cup in that historic game back in 2000. 

Due to the high interest in this event organizations have been set up to make sure it runs long into the future.
