Fishing in Alanya

Fishing is a very popular hobby in Alanya. The surrounding coasts have a wide variety of fish, and this is an excellent opportunity for all you fishermen out there who are after a holiday in the Sun yet still able to sit and enjoy fishing. You can hire a fishing boat and Captain at a cost of around 155 lira per day (55 GBP).

The boat can hold as many as 10 fishermen this makes it a fantastic experience at very low cost. The boats are around 9 meters long and an ideal way to catch a very large Tuna fish that frequent the Alanya coast line only a half of a mile off shore.

Although you may love fishing, it can also become very boring if you?re sat all day doing it. There are sightseeing trips to the caves off the peninsula that can be arranged if you are looking to break up your day of fishing in the costal waters of Alanya.
